Chaune King – also known as Legasie, has worked in the entertainment industry for over 6 years. Chaune King bust onto the scene in 2002 and became known for his bold lyrics and heavy bass lined tracks. As an LGBT artist with the talent, drive and ambition to be heard, he steamrolled a path throughout the music industry touring across the UK, Europe and the USA.
Unfortunately Chaune King lost his voice a little over three years ago and he was devastated, but without a voice he continued writing music and focusing on his comeback. In 2012 he returned to the scene showcasing his acting skills. This let to Chaune King being casted in Campbell Blackman’s hit LGBT film “Stud Life”, which was the start of his comeback.
Chaune King’s career has led to many award nominations, such as LGBT Entertainer of the Year nominee in 2006 and 2007, The Camden Unsung Music Hero Award nominee in 2011.
The highlight for Chaune King thus far was winning the Black LGBT Community Leader Of the Year Award in 2008.
